Bad mom alert: Chaz Bono offers Angelina help with Shiloh

The low rent Examiner has a story about Angelina Jolie raising Shiloh as a boy and Chaz Bono says he can help. This is a complete re-hash of a story in OK! last month. Last year, there were a passel of stories about Shiloh's tomboy ways.

I just know what I read in these silly magazines and I don't believe half of that. If Angelina sticks to her decision to leave Chaz Bono the hell out of her parenting process, this is a move full of win, as the young people are fond of saying.

There's plenty of stuff about the Jolie-Pitt brood in the gossip rags this week. OK! has Angelina finally reacting to Chaz Bono's request to meet with little tomboy Shiloh, with the simple answer "not only no, but hell no".

My only comment is that Shiloh really looks like her daddy in that picture. Of course, whether she looked like dad or mom, she's in a win-win situation, right?

Angelina Jolie has been the favorite topic of The Only Ten Magazines That Matter this year. While as a couple with Brad she is in third behind Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Aniston, she is also currently in the Top Ten as a solo act. Two months ago, the Globe told us she was jealous of her daughter Shiloh, now the Big Wicked Step Sister says she flies into rages, screaming at the child and slapping her.

Personally, I'll wait until one of the kids writes their Mommie Dearest.

Bad Help Alert:Nannies rat on Suri and Shiloh!

Previously, I have stated my wish that the gossip rags would leave little kids alone. I also dislike stories where the sources are disgruntled nannies. That said, I did read the headlines in the Star this week with some interest.


If we are to believe the sources the Star quotes, four year old Suri Cruise is quite the handful. She is treated like a princess and she makes the most of it. Among the details are:

• She is served breakfast in bed
• She tattles on her mom Katie to her dad
• She flushed diamonds down the potty
• She gets mani-peds at home

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, also four, is a completely different handful. Many stories have already told us she's a tomboy. the details in the Star this week include:

• She collects dead animals
• She wears boxer shorts and has "tattoos", actually rub-ons that wash off
• She was playing Cowboys and Indians with her older sister's dolls and said the captives had to be scalped, so she cut the heads off the dolls. (Brad made her apologize.)
• She tells her mom to "call her John"

It sounds like a lot of work to be the parent of either of these little girls, but I have to say that given these stories, I have fonder feelings towards one of these tykes than I have towards the other. I'll let you guess which one.
