People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) annually compiles a list for the Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrities, and Russell Brand is taking the crown this year. Beating the likes of Joaquin Phoenix, Natalie Portman, Olivia Wilde and Anne Hathaway, the "Arthur" star shared the title with Kristen Wiig.
The 36-year-old husband of Katy Perry has been a vegetarian since the age of 14. While on "Live! With Regis and Kelly" recently, he explained to host Kelly Ripa that he does not even consume fish oil. "I'm vegetarian. I think it's cruel to squeeze oil out of a fish... Cause they're lovely little guys, aren't they? You shouldn't eat animals; it's mean to them!"
37-year-old Kristen, meanwhile, became a vegetarian to help her stay fit. The "Saturday Night Live" veteran, who recently stars in "Bridesmaids", spilled in an interview with Women's Health that she maintains a healthy lifestyle by eating a lot of tofu and soy in addition to running and doing yoga.

Justin Bieber gets flirty with Nicki Minaj while on-stage at 2011 BET Awards. On Sunday night, June 26, the "Never Say Never" singer took the stage inside Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium to present the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist kudo with the "Your Love" raptress, and he made use the moment to hit on his fellow presenter.
Both Justin and Nicki first hit the stage with a small group of their fans, the "Beliebers" and the "Barbies". They got engaged in a light-hearted battle about their fan bases before Justin mentioned he is almost 18. When Nicki then asked him if he can handle curves, the teen pop sensation confidently replied, "Yes, I can."

A little mix-up occurred when the winner of the Viewers' Choice was announced.
Two years after his sudden passing,Michael Jackson still managed to bring in a lot of money. On Sunday, June 26, an iconic black-and-red calfskin jacket the King of Pop wore in his music video for classic hit "Thriller" was sold for $1.8 million at an auction overseen by Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills.
The Deborah Landis-designed jacket is signed on the sleeve by Michael and was estimated to raise bids of somewhere between $200,000 to $400,000. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will go toward the Shambala Preserve, which are home to the "Black or White" hitmaker's Bengal tigers Thriller and Sabu since 2006.
Darren Julien, president and CEO of Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills, said the jacket was sold to Milton Verret, a commodities trader from Austin. Milton himself revealed he plans to display it at Austin's Dell Children's Hospital before sending it around the world in hopes to raise money for children's charities and hospitals.
Aside from the jacket, memorabilia from Elvis Presley, The Beatles and Frank Sinatra were also included in the auction. Among the items, Paul McCartney's bass guitar went to a bidder for the prize of $14,080, while Frank's 1986 Jaguar was sold for $19,000.
Kate Moss had a slight trouble of being unrecognized when visiting Glastonbury festival to support her fiance Jamie Hince this weekend. The supermodel, whose face has been seen in a lot of runways and magazines, had difficulty to enter the backstage area to watch Pulp on Saturday, June 25.
Kate was photographed arguing with a bouncer who refused to let her in. She was stuck in the muddy place for a few minutes, trying to convince the burly security to let her in because she actually has VIP pass. It was unclear whether Kate and her friends eventually could get through the barricade.
The Pulp show was particularly an attraction because it was a "surprise" act announced only that morning. Glastonbury officials confirmed the band's gig was the biggest Park crowd ever with more than 30,000 people crammed in to the venue.

Delta Goodrem beamed as she arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday, June 24 to pick up her new boyfriend Nick Jonas. Delta, 26, and Nick, 18, have been seeing each other in the past few months and seem to be in a love-struck position.
Nick appeared to be happy when seeing her at the airport's car park especially when she greeted him with a hug and a kiss. They later went inside her car and picked a radio station before heading off. Delta had arrived in Los Angeles a day before Nick.
Delta and Nick's romance began to surface at the end of May, just one month after she announced a separation from Brian McFadden. They went for a vacation in Bali, Indonesia and had since been seen holding hands on several outings.
When asked by Extra about their relationship, Nick dodged it by saying, "Well, uh, there's a journey that I'm on and I'm enjoying this journey. I'm in a really good place, and I feel really blessed."
Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley's split may not be as usual as other former couples'. The singers, who were married for three years, were recently photographed affectionately embracing each other on a yacht in Saint Tropez, France
Lavigne has been vacationing at the French Riviera in the past few days with some friends. She spent most of the time chilling out on board the yacht and mingling with her pals which on Friday, June 24 included her ex-husband. Her boyfriend, Brody Jenner, was not seen on any of the days.
According to Radar Online, the bikini-clad Lavigne leaned in and "affectionately placed her hand on Whibley's stomach". They could hardly keep the smiles off their faces as they hugged and flirted with friends nearby.
It is unlikely that Lavigne had separated from Brody because they were seen together last week in Toronto, Canada where she performed at Much Music Awards. They have been dating since February last year and even tattooed each other's name.
Meanwhile, Lavigne said of her ex, “I respect Deryck so much as an artist, and he produced several songs on this record [Goodbye Lullaby]. He did a really amazing job. We’re great friends and I’m grateful for the relationship."
Despite her status as the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton apparently doesn't mind pulling a wardrobe repeat. In anticipation of her North American tour with husband Prince William, Clarence House released an official photo of the royal couple, and it captures the 29-year-old recycling her Amanda Wakeley jacket.
Kate was previously seen wearing the navy blue suit on April 11, just weeks before her April 29 wedding to William. She was, at the time, joining the British prince on their last official engagement before tying the knot as they visited Blackburn and Darwen. The Duchess, however, isn't the only one recycling her look. William also wore the same Savile Row suit he donned on the April outing.
The official photo marking Kate and William's first official overseas trip to Canada as a married couple itself was taken by photographer Chris Jackson in the garden of Clarence House on Friday, June 3. Wearing the matching midnight blue outfits, the couple flash their best smiles. They will kick start their eight-day tour of Canada on June 30, before heading to Los Angeles.
In the official statement, William said, "Catherine and I are very much looking forward to our Tour of Canada. We hope to be able to meet as many people as possible and to see as much of the extraordinary and diverse country as we can. Miley Cyrus had a little stage scare at her Melbourne, Australia concert on Friday night, June 24. The "Can't Be Tamed" hitmaker closed out the gig with a performance of "The Climb", but as she was taking her bows, an overenthusiastic fan slipped off the guards and rushed onto the stage in an attempt to hug her.
The fan did get a chance to stand next to Miley and put her hand around the songstress' shoulder for a brief moment before being tackled off the stage by security guard. Surprised by the incident, the "So Undercover" actress backed away and repeated the words, "Oh my god." She was then quickly guided off the stage by the guard.
The shocking moment for Miley was captured on tape and can be seen at around the 3:54 mark of the video footage taken from the concert.
Miley is currently traveling across Australia as part of her Gypsy Heart Tour. She has performed in Brisbane last June 21, and will next perform at the Acer Arena in Sydney on two consecutive nights before taking on Adelaide on June 29 and Perth on July 2.
Kim Kardashian is putting to rest once and for all rumors that she has got her famous backside surgically enhanced. Accompanied by sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, the fiancee of NBA player Kris Humphries has gone to her family doctor to take an x-ray of her butt as proof.
On Thursday, June 23, Khloe put up a photo of Kim standing next to an X-ray photo of her booty on a blog post titled "She's All Natural Baby!". Along with the picture, the younger Kardashian wrote, "Hey dolls. The PROOF is in the X-ray. Kim's ass is 100% real!!!" Kim herself has responded to the posting as tweeting, "Haha! The things my sisters have me do! Proof baby!"

Rihanna is fuming mad at MTV Canada for running a story based on a tweet she supposedly wrote regarding the Chris Brown incident. Blasting the cable network for the false report, the "California King Bed" singer wrote on Twitter, "@mtvnewscanada are u f**king kiddin me?????? You're supposed to be a RELIABLE source for news on music and this is the bulls**t u post??"
MTV Canada previously reported that a tweet from Riri's official Twitter page has uncovered that the Barbadian singer admitted to have provoked her ex-boyfriend into hitting her back in 2009. The reported tweet allegedly read, "'I admit it. I provoked Chris [Brown] to hit me. It not entirely his fault. #imSORRY?' "
In its report, MTV Canada noted that the tweet has since been removed and has sparked speculation whether it was a hoax or a work by a hacker. After Riri let out her fiery response, the cable network tweeted a retraction to the story. It wrote, "#Rihanna fans. We were reporting on a story that was posted on several sites today. We had no intention to be salacious."

A new Miss USA has been named at the annual beauty pageant. Alyssa Campanella, a 21-year-old auburn-haired beauty representing California, outshone 50 other women to take the coveted title in a ceremony taking place at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday night, June 19.
The full-time model won over the judges with her strut in a blue bikini with white polka dots and in a dark turquoise evening gown. When asked about legalizing marijuana during the final Q&A phase, she said, "I understand that medical marijuana is very important for those who need it legally. It's abused, but that's the only reason I'd be against it. I'm not sure legalizing it would have much of an effect on the drug war."
In the 60th anniversary of the Donald Trump-owned pageant, Alyssa was crowned by incumbent Miss USA, Rima Fakih, who was the first Arab-American to hold the title. She will represent the United States at Miss Universe pageant on September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. If she can't fulfill her duties, she will be replaced by Miss Tennessee, Ashley Elizabeth Durham, who came in second.
The 2011 Miss USA Pageant was hosted by Andy Cohen and Giuliana Rancic. Judges included "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Caroline Manzo, rapper Lil Jon and Dallas Mavericks center Tyson Chandler. The third runner-up went to Miss Texas Ana Rodriguez, while Miss Alabama Madeline Mitchell was named the second runner-up.
