Plot:
alika Vadhu is a TV serial on Colors. Drama Balika Vadhu touches on the sensitive issue of a child marriage. Balika Vadhu revolves around the life of Anandhi. Anandhi was forced to marry at a tender age of eight to equally young boy Jagdish. ‘Balika Vadhu’ very sensitively portrays the plight of children who are unwittingly forced into marriage, in the name of tradition, and have to bear the repercussions for the rest of their lives.
